Siargao is one of the top destination in the Philippines that offers great food, a laid-back island vibe, and of course, gorgeous shorelines and perfect waves for surfing.
Packed with local and international tourists that usually ends up extending for weeks or even months on the island! The scenic stretch is full of hostels, hotels, resorts and restaurants serving local and international dishes.
One of the standout dining options is Viento Del Mar, a fusion-focused restaurant with an international twist. The menu includes a couple of outstanding dishes like the blackened mahi-mahi and their premium eggs benedict option ranging from smashed avocado to smoked salmon & cream cheese that were carefully selected by Chef Kirby Lucero. Apart from their amazing menu, you should definitely try their cocktails especially their espresso martini.
I had a good chat with Chef Kirby and he mentioned that they source their ingredients from local farms and fishermen making sure that the food they serve is fresh. Chef Kirby has a pretty strong culinary background since he used to work in Cayman Islands for about 10 years. With his outstanding culinary experience, he was able to transform Viento’s kitchen and staff into a world class team serving delicious food and cocktails.
Viento Del Mar is not just a restaurant, it is also a guesthouse that is perfectly located between Cloud 9 & General Luna. They have accommodations ranging from private rooms to shared accommodations. Viento Del Mar also offers packages for a worry free and fun experience from surf camps, kite school, island hopping, and more.
